CAASPP Testing for Students in Grade 3, 4, 5: This May, students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will be participating in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). CAASPP is the State’s academic testing program and includes the computer-adaptive Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) and the new California Science Test (CAST). Students in grades 3-8 and 11 will take tests in English Language Arts and Math. Additionally, students in grade 5 will take a science test (CAST).

All results will be mailed home and made available through Aeries Parent Portal in Fall 2018.
Chaparral students in grades 3-5 will be administered the CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) in May.
Grade 3 will test on May 15-17 and 22-24
Grade 4 will test on May 15-17 and 22-24
Grade 5 will test on May 15-17 and 22-25.
