Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000 care packages filled with CANDY, snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation to Veterans, New Recruits, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Their mission is to lift spirits and meet evolving needs of our Active Duty and Veteran communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for Americans to say “Thank You” to members of our Military. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than One Million Care Packages.
To help, drop off your unopened candy in either sealed Ziploc style bags or plastic grocery style bags, in the Operation Gratitude bin located in the school office. Candy will be collected Thursday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 7. Thank you for supporting our troops.
